I am a contradiction, an Imperfectly Perfect Imperfection,
On looking in from outside I think I’d pass inspection
My best intentions lead to pain And complicated messes
My head is filled with wishes, My decisions second guesses
There was a time I tried to hide each wrinkle, scar and tear
But I’m learning to appreciate That I’m more than I appear
Each wrinkle tells a story, The path from there to here
I’ve earned a little wisdom With every falling tear
I want to wake up without my heart missing a beat,
and my site ready to over analyse everything I see
A person worthy of their inadequate reflection,
and to be somebody's love for un-realistic perfection
Well, were we wonderfully made with complex tendencies,
So sometimes we think we have personality and physical feature vacancies
Over all I've come to realize my Imperfectly Perfect Imperfections,
are merely the surface of a true loving person, with no limitations.
