An innocent little girl, lying in the dirt
with tears in her eyes and blood on her skirt
Not understanding what happened to her
the pain was so bad, it was all a blur
No one to turn too and no where to run
little did she know, her nightmare had only just
begun....
Her little body battered and bruised, her little heart
hurt and confused
She wiped the blood, from her mouth and nose
crawled to her knees, and slowly she rose
She buried her clothes in the backyard
that's when her heart, started to get hard.....
There was no one to hold her and make it alright
alone with her pain, she cried through the night
She kept the secret, out of fear and shame
over and over, to her room he came
He took her innocence, made her dirty and stripped her
pride
Told her she was worthless, unlovable, he hurt her and
lied............
He made her feel she deserved it and it was her fault
it was a catch 22, this child was caught
What he did destroyed her to the core
turned her into uncle D's little whore...
She was so afraid for anyone to know
she had no where to run and no where to go
Keeping the secret was destroying her heart
to tell what he was doing, would tear her world apart...
When she got older, things began to change
she found that drugs, could ease her pain
She thought that no one could love her, as she only felt
hurt
she felt she would always be, the little girl in the dirt.
